Hi, I'm Michael.

I'm a Registered Psychotherapist offering individual and couples therapy, integrating Gottman Method, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and somatic-mindfulness approaches. My work is grounded in systemic and relational frameworks, drawing from both health systems and family systems psychotherapy. I also draw from narrative, solutions-focused, and emotion focused (think attachment theory) therapies.

How often do you reflect on building a life worth loving or relationships that truly nourish you? If that question feels unfamiliar or overwhelming, therapy can be a valuable place to explore it. The beliefs we hold about ourselves and our relationships shape us in profound ways, and taking time to examine them can be grounding, healing, and clarifying.

My approach is personalized, judgment-free, and rooted in humility. I've been and continue to be in the client seat myself, and that experience deeply informs how I show up for others.

Working from a systemic-relational lens means you are central to the process. I weave in Gottman Method for couples work, and IFS to help you explore the parts of yourself and the stories that shape your daily life. Together, we'll find ways to work with your challenges rather than against them. In our sessions, you can expect to notice how your body feels, observe how your thoughts take shape, and learn to be with uncertainty all within a safe, inclusive, and receptive space.

Areas of focus: I work with individuals and couples who feel ready to explore ideas about themselves, their relationships, and the lives they're living. Additionally, I have a particular interest in working with men, athletes, and meditators as well as people engaged in self-development who may find that inner work benefits from a therapeutic space. They may be navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, relational conflict, trauma, or spiritual uncertainty. Some feel stuck or disconnected, others sense old patterns aren't working anymore. I help clients move forward through self-understanding and self-compassion toward a more meaningful, loving life.

Outside of the therapy room, you'll find me building Legos, lifting heavy things, collecting more board games than I get to play, bonding with my dog and cat, or out on a trail, bike, or kayak.

Thanks for taking the time to learn about me. If something here resonates, I'd love to connect.
